The New Third Wave of Economic Development in China
In the American Public Media program 'Marketplace' (May 8, 2008) Andy Rothman (U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission) describes the three waves of economic development in China. He says that this third wave will be a "a process that should benefit Chinese workers, improve the global environment and lead to higher prices for American consumers."
